Robert E. Wolf, M.D.
Dr. Wolf has been practicing orthopaedics for 11 years. He was born a Texan in Dallas and moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma at age six where he lived until completing high school. He returned to Texas to attend Baylor University and graduated in 1985. Dr. Wolf earned his medical degree from Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He then moved to Memphis, Tennessee, to continue advanced training in his chosen specialty, orthopaedic surgery, at the Campbell Clinic, one of the world’s most recognized orthopaedic institutions in the world.
In addition, Dr. Wolf was awarded the American Cancer Society Clinical Fellowship in Musculoskeletal Oncology and completed a year-long training program, or fellowship, subspecializing in orthopaedic oncology at Shands Teaching Hospital/University of Florida.
Following his training, Dr. Wolf was awarded an academic appointment as an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Louisville in Kentucky where he trained orthopaedic surgery residents, lectured internationally, and contributed to various publications. In 1998, he relocated to Western Kentucky to expand his general orthopaedic practice and served as a team physician for several school districts.
Dr. Wolf has a special interest in sports medicine injuries and serves as a team physician for Baylor University where he works with young athletes to help them pull through their sports-related injuries.
When not practicing medicine, he enjoys several hobbies. Dr. Wolf has an avid love of music of all types, but particularly enjoys Contemporary Christian Music. His love of music is evident with his ability to play the acoustic guitar, the saxophone, and the piano. He also enjoys snow skiing, traveling, church activities, and spending time with his family.
